dee2256 Posted February 2, 2005 #1 Share Posted February 2, 2005 I haven't seen any mention of ziplining trips from the port at Caldara. Does anyone know if they are available? I have yet to locate Caldara on the map, but I believe it is on the Pacific coast. Most of the ziplining information I've seen pertains to Puerto Limon. Is there a west coast version of Oscar Brown and/or Almonds and Coral? What are the costs and how long is the drive? Thanks for any information you can provide. dee
lahore Posted February 2, 2005 #2 Share Posted February 2, 2005 Hi, see my posting that is currently just above this one 'recommendations for costa rica'. That was from Puntarenas but they would do Caldera as well.
dee2256 Posted February 3, 2005 Author #3 Share Posted February 3, 2005 Thanks for the info. I finally managed to figure out that Caldera is pretty close to Puntarenas, so it makes sense that the same company could serve both ports. All of your information was very helpful and interesting and I'm looking forward to getting this organized.:)
lahore Posted February 3, 2005 #4 Share Posted February 3, 2005 Yes, they certainly could do both as we went straight past Caldera. There is really NOTHING at Caldera so you might want to see if they can take you to Puntarenas as well for a looksee.
