snowy owl Posted May 30, 2010 #1 Share Posted May 30, 2010 Hey all, Just wondering if anybody that aged has cruised recently. We have a lot of kids that age in our roll call for the Miracle 6-16-10. What are some of the things you did? Any advice for these kids.
cb at sea Posted May 30, 2010 #2 Share Posted May 30, 2010 18 and up are adults, and will do whatever adults do...except drink! Most of the time, they will be checking out the opposite sex at the pool or sports deck or clubs!
nybumpkin Posted May 30, 2010 #3 Share Posted May 30, 2010 Last week in his blog John Heald stated that the cruise directors will be starting some activities directed at this group - things like a get-together the first day, air hockey tournaments, toga party, bathrobe bash, and college trivia. I'm not sure if they'll have these in place on Miracle by the time you sail, but keep an eye out for these types of activities. Our oldest son's last cruise with us was a few months before he turned 18. While he did some Club O2 activities, he also spent a lot of time with kids who weren't in Club O2. For boys at least, there was no problem meeting others on the Promenade deck (usually near or in the arcade) and on the sports deck.
