Rare Tom-n-Cheryl Posted February 2, 2005 #1 Share Posted February 2, 2005 Yes, there are larger concerns when cruising - but >>> My dilemma is over - I have been concerned with not having TOPPINGS for ice cream on the Inspiration - Hot fudge, nuts, butterfinger, cookie pieces, etc (like they have on Spirit class vessels during Sea Days) so.... I will be packing a small squeeze bottle of Hershey's chocolate syrup, and krackel/heath SHELL ice cream toppings - along with some crushed butterfinger and cookies... I am getting a chocolate rush just thinking about it! Hey - this is more practical than a CROCKPOT...:D I have not yet decided whether or not to bring all that stuff up to LIDO and be SEEN doing this:eek: - or if I should wither away :o to the privacy of my own cabin to have my way with the ice cream... Opinions? Tom
hstrybuf Posted February 2, 2005 #2 Share Posted February 2, 2005 Hmmm, would this be considered contraband? Are you willing to share? Are you prepared to be trampled by the other pax who didn't have the foresight to bring their own toppings? :D
JiminyCricket Posted February 2, 2005 #3 Share Posted February 2, 2005 Your room, that way you won't have to share your precious toppings with anyone who "catches" you. Good Luck and Enjoy!
Kathy555 Posted February 2, 2005 #4 Share Posted February 2, 2005 You would be like the pied piper - everyone would be following you around!!:D
neverenufcruising Posted February 2, 2005 #5 Share Posted February 2, 2005 I think you should eat it right in front of some choice seats on the Lido Deck. When the people occupying those chairs ask you where you got it, you can send them to the nonexistent toppings and take over their chairs.:D
Kathy555 Posted February 2, 2005 #6 Share Posted February 2, 2005 OOOH I love that idea!! Now I know how to finally get a chair near the pool :D
kujobie Posted February 2, 2005 #7 Share Posted February 2, 2005 Funny. I have brought food on as well. My faves are Lance peanut butter on cheese crackers, Pringle's chips (just because the container is good for packing, crush proof), and snickers bars. With all of the food available, there's not a lot of snack/junk food to munch on late at night or on the go without having to wait for room service. Great to take with you when you go to port, too. tarbashchaputi Posted February 2, 2005 #8 Share Posted February 2, 2005 Just wondering if you want to bring your toppings to my cabin so that we can heat them in my crock pot. :D
