(First Timers):) BHA Girl, Typically boarding begins between 11:30 am and noon. So, by the time your bus transfer arrives at the pier you will definitely be able to board the ship. Sorry I don't know how long the trip from the airport is, but, sure you can google this information. Jonathan
jocap Posted May 31, 2010 #3 Share Posted May 31, 2010 Is this a Thomson's fly/cruise? If so, it will be fairly seamless- Thomson's own aircraft; reps to meet you and put you on the coach, and someone to show you into the terminal for checking in. The ships are used to the flight times, and the leaving passengers will be on board waiting to get on your coach back to their flight. If you need more info, look on the Thomson's forum on this site. jocap Posted May 31, 2010 #5 Share Posted May 31, 2010 From land holidays in Corfu, the distance into Corfu town wasn't far, and the docks are only a mile from there. Jo.
cosytoes Posted June 6, 2010 #6 Share Posted June 6, 2010 Less than 30 minutes on the bus. You check in at the port building, get the free bus to the pier and then leave your luggage on the dockside. You can go straight to your cabin but remember to pack a costume/shorts etc as you won't get your luggage till mid/late afternoon. You can stay on board on leaving day until coach comes to pick you up so if you are lucky you might get a full day on board then as well.
Colorado Kat Posted June 7, 2010 #7 Share Posted June 7, 2010 Keep sunscreen out of checked luggage as well. (At least a small bottle.) You don't want to burn on your first day!
