Web check-in in Malta

Does anyone know whether we can effect the web check-in before embarkation here in Malta? :confused:

 

Is there a long line of people on embarkation day from Malta?

You can do it if you want but aside from the main Mediterranean port of Genoa (where the majority of the passengers embark) the web check-in isn't very important because there will be much fewer people boarding at the other ports, Malta included. When I board at Naples, twice now they've told me they don't need the web check-in form I had prepared.

I was told that there is no need to do a web check in Malta as the number of passnegers is not that many as it is not the place where the crusie is really starting from. But I am not sure.
