glory cat 11 vs 8e

I've been looking at the Glory for next year. Just got off a cruise with a cat 11 cabin. Next cruise there is about a $350 difference in cat 8E and cat 11 on the Glory. We enjoyed our suite on previous cruises but do you think the extra space is worth this money. We realize there are no extra perks once you are on the ship compared to other cruise lines like HAL. We have a tendency to spend time in the cabin relaxing. Whats your opinion on this price difference.

What you might want to consider are the Cat 9A's... the AFT WRAP-AROUND 9A's

We were in 6483 - great cabin - I would pick it again if/when we sail Conquest class vessels again. I would pick it in a heartbeat over 11's or 12's. The balcony is about 40' long... PLENTY of space to hang out, and the cabin is larger than a Cat 8 (though smaller than a suite). All aft corner cabins (whether Cat 9's on Conquest class vessels or Cat 11's on Spirit class vessels) will only accommodate TWO people...

Being on deck 6, we were buffered from any Lido noise (deck 9). Our son, who was in an interior cabin (6475) did get a fair amount of THUMP THUMP from the lounge below late into the evening - but there was NOT A SOUND in ours!

Tom,

Q for you.

We have 2 people booked in 4237 on the Legend, and two in the room next door (pure aft...I forget the number). One of the PAX in that is my DD. Even though she's not booked in our room, does the sofa in 4237 look like it's convertable? If not, we were just gonna let her sleep between us. This way our DD is with us, and the other person (which is my wife's godmother) has the other cabin to herself.

If all else fails, DD will sleep in the other cabin.

Also, where is the door connecting the two cabins?

There are no sofa is the cat 9a cabins for the Conquest class ships- we had one booked on the Glory, but canx it because of no sofa. There are just 2 of us-now if you are going to be spending a lot of time on your balcony- go for the 9a- a friends of ours had one and the balcony is awesome!
