Royal caribbean insurance

We have heard about a cruise insurance policy provided by Royal Caribbean whereby a booked and paid for cruise can be changed up to a couple of week before departing, there is no refund but a credit rolled over to another cruise although there is an administration charge.

Have called Royal Caribbean in the UK and they are not aware of such a scheme, instead we need to take out independent insurance.

Never heard of it.

Just regular insurance that covers medical, trip interuption...etc!

Are you perhaps referring to the Cruise Vacation Protection portion of RCI's insurance program? -
