dsseattle Posted June 3, 2010 #1 Share Posted June 3, 2010 We are on windstar cruises and will arrive at the San Basilio Pier. We need to get to our hotel which is between San Marco Piazza and Rialto bride down a side canal. The public vaporetto with luggage would not be a good option. Any other ideas on how to get there. Does anyone know of a water taxi service which you can book in advance and maybe negotiate a discount? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Denise
TriMomma Posted June 4, 2010 #2 Share Posted June 4, 2010 You could perhaps call the hotel and see if they can arrange it for you. Or try Venice Link. Their prices seem quite reasonable. We had our hotel book the water taxi for us from the hotel to the airport. So much easier with luggage. Worth the splurge! www.venicelink.com
NnJ36 Posted June 8, 2010 #3 Share Posted June 8, 2010 We had to rent a water taxi to go from the Rialto bridge to the Hotel Stukey and it cost us 60 euros but worth the trip. And what great photos.
