Royal Caribbean Nassau tour question

does anyone know about the excursion that royal caribbean has to get a tour of Nassau? It says it takes you on a bus to tour the queens staircase and some forts and then you end up at the atlantis for a short photo op. I was wondering if they would allow you to stay at the atlantis and get your own transportation back to the ship at that point. We would like to have more time at the Atlantis, and I figure it would be silly to go back to the ship and then have to make my way back on my own. Dont know how particular they are on having everyone stay together on these excursions.
