snowmn Posted June 11, 2010 #1 Share Posted June 11, 2010 We are on Pacific Sun's next cruise out of Auckland and have just been advised that she will be delayed by 24 hrs due to medical emergency. Looking at ship tracker it would appear she is diverting to Norfolk Is.
Kiwi_cruiser Posted June 11, 2010 #2 Share Posted June 11, 2010 Looking at the ports of Auckland website, it looks like you might be boarding her on Queens Wharf.
Sandielle Posted June 11, 2010 #3 Share Posted June 11, 2010 You're right Kiwi Cruiser. They have announced: P&O Cruises Australia Pacific Sun is currently on the homeward leg to Auckland following a 10-day cruise to the South Pacific. Due to a medical emergency involving a crew member onboard her current cruise, Pacific Sun will arrive 24 hours later than scheduled. This means embarkation for your cruise will take place 24 hours later than planned, on Monday 14 June at Queens Wharf terminal. Please call our Arrivals and Departures Infoline on (AU) 1300 653 620 or (NZ) 0800 543 429 for your dedicated check-in time and the most up-to-date information. As a result of this delay, you will be reimbursed 1/12 of the cost of your cruise fare, which will be applied to the shipboard account of the first passenger listed on your booking – the scheduled ports of call will remain unchanged, but the order in which they are visited have been amended - further details will be available onboard. We apologise for any inconvenience and we look forward to welcoming you onboard Pacific Sun.
