super10brss Posted June 14, 2010 #1 Share Posted June 14, 2010 My wife and I will be in Barbados June 30 on a cruise. We really want to snorkel with the turtles and the ship wrecks. We have heard great reviews about Silvermoon but they are booked solid. Any one else have outstanding reviews for a good company that can help us out? Thanks! V n C Posted June 17, 2010 #6 Share Posted June 17, 2010 If you want a smaller group setting (12 or less people per cruise) fantastic food, open bar, great crew, try Calabaza sailing. My wife and I have done multiple snorkling trips with several different companies and this one was the best. All homemade food served on real china plates, drinks come in glasses not plastic cups etc. A great experience all around.
Host Jacquelyn Posted June 21, 2010 #7 Share Posted June 21, 2010 We sailed Heatwave and it was great. Went to see the turtles, then to a wreck. My only complaint is that there wasn't too much time in the water... maybe 30-45 minutes total for the 5 hour cruise. The lunch was fantastic though, and it was open bar (frozen cocktails, mixed drinks, juice and bottled water) the whole time. It wasn't a party boat either, and we had our 2 young kids with us. 3LittleBirds Posted June 24, 2010 #8 Share Posted June 24, 2010 We went on Wadadli (sp?) cats last fall. Although we had an ok time, IMHO there were way too many people jammed on the boat, and the crew was not very friendly. [EDIT] Disregard this post - I confused this with Antigua.
