Volendam Alaska - anyone just back or going July 7?

Very few reviews from this season, so interested in hearing from folks just back from Volendam.

Anyone going July 7? We just booked it today!

we returned from Alaska on Volendam on 19th May. This was our first cruise, and nothing to compare with.

We had a great time and have no complaints about Volendam, we didn't get right into Tracey Arm due to ice but the rest of the trip was fantastic, meals were great, we did the Pinaccle restaurant one night - Brilliant and dined in the main dining room on several occasions. Formal nights were great.

The ship is in the medium size, didn't seamed crouded.

We are now looking at another cruise on the Volendam next year.

Hi LA Native

My DH and I are booked on the July 7 cruise. There is a roll call going, but it is very quiet. There are a few on board for a few days as part of a cruisetour, but so far we are the only ones posted that are doing the complete 7 day cruise. It is our first time to sail Volendam so cannot comment on the ship although we have been on 2 previous HAL ships and very much enjoyed them. Looking forward to a great time and seeing the sights of Alaska.

We are Sally and Gary from southern California taking the 14 day cruisetour and are real excited! This is our 2nd HAL cruise but have cruised with other ships in many countries. Has anyone heard about the proposed weather for our upcoming trip trip? No activity lately on our roll call.
