Orvieto tour

Has anyone done the Celebrity Orvieto tour? If so, do you get enough time to shop on your own? And, how was the lunch!! Thanks.

We did this last Oct. and really enjoyed it. It's an hour or so bus ride but worth it. The walled town is really different from anything I have seen before. It sits on a high hill The walls are just a continuation of the hill. I was impressed by the town well that was so deep they used donkeys to bring the water out. To answer your questions yes you do get an hour or so to shop. The lunch was very good and in a restaurant in the main town. I think you will enjoy the trip. Happy Crusing

What about from Civitivechia to Orvieto. Does anyone know if there is a train or bus? How long would it take?

No train, and I doubt there is a bus, but I don't know that for sure. Rental car or car and driver is probably your only option from Civitavecchia.
