dogladyjw Posted February 4, 2005 #1 Share Posted February 4, 2005 What is the difference between the Dolphin Swim, Encounter and Discovery? Thanks!
vijoge Posted February 4, 2005 #2 Share Posted February 4, 2005 I think Dolphin Discovery is the name of the place. The encounter allows you to stand in the water (about three feet of water) and pet the dolphins. The swim allows you to actually swim with the dolphins. It costs quite a bit more $$ and it's a pretty short swim. My husband did it (the swim) once.
time11130 Posted February 6, 2005 #3 Share Posted February 6, 2005 The encounter you only get to sit on the side of the dock with your feet in the water while the dolphins swim by, also there is about 30 people in your group. The Royal swim is well worth the extra money. We were in the water for about 45 minutes and there was only 8 people in a group. You get to do more with the dolphins with the Royal swim. The dolphins push you around and you get to swim with them. A Lot of fun. You have to get this encounter outside of the cruise, RCC does not do this one.
