nasamom Posted June 18, 2010 #1 Share Posted June 18, 2010 Has anyone gone to this coffee plantation? How was the trip, and how long did it take to get there from Puntarenas?
tourdirector101 Posted July 21, 2010 #2 Share Posted July 21, 2010 You asked about the Cafe Britt tour? I think it's the BEST tour we ever went on. The drive is over an hour each way- depending on traffic. Get a seat where you can see the road ahead and you'll know what I mean. The excursion was advertised as "humourous" and it did not disappoint. The presenters were very entertaining, the meal was great and the guide that accompanied us the whole way was very informative. We are going to be in that area again in fall and were wondering if that excursion still existed - it doesn't seem to be in our brochure, but we are on HAL this time, and that was on Celebrity. We bought a suitcase full of coffee too. :) Have a great time!

We want to buy some coffee beans next year but worried they may be confiscated at the airport in the USA
