DJan07 Posted June 18, 2010 #1 Share Posted June 18, 2010 Hey Everybody, On July 2, my brother and I will be taking a 3-night cruise on the Monarch and we were curious about the casino hours. I know that there are laws about when the casinos can be open, but this cruise will be in port for both "full days" of the cruise. Other than the night we set sail and after leaving CocoCay, when else will the casino be open? We don't really plan on spending a ton of time there and/or blowing all of our money, however we're very schedule-oriented people. Haha. Thanks for your help! cb at sea Posted June 18, 2010 #2 Share Posted June 18, 2010 The casino will be open about 2 hours (or so) after you set sail the 1st day...it will be open until probably 2am....or until the "crowds" thin out. It will not be open while you're in port. I don't know if it's open while at the private island (Coco Cay)...I'm always ON the island!!!!
DJan07 Posted June 18, 2010 Author #3 Share Posted June 18, 2010 Thanks for your response! We'll be staying on the islands as long as possible, so that's why we wanted to check when the casino would be open once we get back on the ship. Thanks again! nivek82 Posted June 18, 2010 #4 Share Posted June 18, 2010 The casino normally opens around 6 to 630 on Friday night. Saturday the slots are normally open from 9am until you get into Nassau (around noon) then the whole casino normally reopens around 7pm that night. Sunday they open slots at 9am and tables around noon and is open the rest of the day. If you get back early or go late out to coco cay it's normally not too busy in the casino on Sunday.
