rosie#1 Posted June 19, 2010 #1 Share Posted June 19, 2010 Hello, We are considering two cruises on the Vision next year. One stops in Ashdod / Haifa (10am to 10pm & 7am to 10pm), while the other overnights in Ashdod (10am to 10pm next day). Are there any advantages of one over the other? I prefer to stay on the ship overnight. The other difference is one stops in Athens and the other in Mykonos. We have been to both. Thanks,

Overnight in Ashdod allow you to visit both Jerusalem and the Dead Sea on 2 different day tours coming back to an overnight on the ship. 2 days in Jerusalem without an overland is also possible in such case. While if you want to visit the north – Nazareth, Galilee, Sea of Galilee etc… - it will be better to take the option of Ashdod/Haifa. That way you can have one day in Jerusalem and one day in the north. So it all has to do first with what you are planning to see in Israel, but if you ask me I would take the option of both ports.
