An itching for Blackjack

Hey everyone.

Do you need to have your cruise account attached to a credit card to be able to gamble on the Dawn/Jewel? I wasn't sure on my last cruise. Not that it mattered; I was having so much fun elsewhere. But maybe next time?

If you have your credit card registered then you must show ID the first time you get cash out, but they do charge interest on it as it is classed as a cash withdrawal. We usually just take cash and change it at the casino for chips or coins. Until we run out then use the cruise card LOL

They normaly dont let you use your cruise card in the casino except for buying bingo cards.

with princess ships if you want to get some cash from the casino it goes on your sea pass card or if you have some OBC on your card you can cash it in and they charge 3% per hundred dollars

Yes they do Theid,,, I am just off the Dawn Princess and used this every day,,,, After the first time when you need ID they put an R on your card to show you have taken money out already and you can use this as ofteN as you like,,, there is a limit but it is high...They also do it on the P&O ships.

I just looked at your original question,,,, If you do not have a credit card attached you will not be able to get cash on your cruise card,,,,Unless there is enough money on it to cover the withdrawal. When you have your credit card attached they earmark the money you take immediatly off your credit card,,, Hope that makes sense. Marg

But you can just take regular cash to the casino and buy chips? Thats probably what I'll end up doing.
