No ice cream on Triumph?

Tell me it isn't so - the Triumph doesn't have soft-serve ice cream? Do they have any ice cream at all? One of the best parts of a cruise is having ice cream for breakfast!!

OP: Where did you hear this. Last time I was on the Triumph a few months ago they had plenty of soft serve ice cream and sugar free frozen yogurt as has every Carnival ship that I have been on. They also had a Sunday station set up a couple of days in the afternoon with hand dipped real ice cream.

It had tons of soft serve ice cream (fat and lowfat versions available) week before last... 24 hours a day.

We did not have it for breakfast but it was available in a couple of different locations.

They had it in March. But it is not in the buffet area. You have to go to the back of the ship where that aft pool is. The pizza is out there too. If you dont know its back there you might miss it. They had a machine for ice cream and one for yogurt.

I saw this mentioned on the June 5 roll call - they missed the ice cream machine. Maybe it just wasn't working. I assumed they meant there wasn't one at all.

I don't know. Maybe they didn't find it? A few weeks ago, the one I used (at least twice a day :o) was aft, opposite side from the bar. There was also one on the other side of the ship, near the deli. However, I don't think they ever put the strawberry yogurt in it...which was fine with me, since I prefer vanilla. :D

I love the frozen yogurt so much that I took a pic of the machine on the last day. :p

I was on the June 5th cruise and the ice cream most certainly was flowing freely. I think the reason you saw that someone was "missing" the ice cream, was because they were now at home and no longer on the ship.

Grits I found stawberry one day on the port side machine, by the main pool ... but they labeled it chocolate and vanilla. I saw someone with stawberry and circled all the machines until I found where they got it.

I was actually glad to find that they didn't alternate the vanilla and strawberry every other day as they have done on the Conquest. I LOVE the vanilla, don't care for the strawberry. :D

This whole thread title etc is very misleading

the OP apparently didn't realize the posters "missed" having the ice cream

just as we all "miss" our room stewards, the lido buffet, the 24 hour pizza...and "miss" the ice cream etc

ALL Carnival ships have the frozen ice cream/yogurt stations ...all the time

they don't just take them off one ship - Triumph
