Weather on Cruise Departing from Baltimore March, early April 2011?

We are scheduled to depart from Baltimore on the Pride at the very beginning of April 2011. I was just wondering what we should expect in terms of weather, rocky seas, etc. We have cruised her out of Baltimore before two years ago but it was in late June so I really have nothing to compare it too. Any advice, suggestions?

Our itinerary is boring, Pt. Canaveral, Nassau and Freeport, that's it. We've already been to both Bahamian ports, but the schedule was in sync with our son's spring break.

Thanks for any advice.

Since you're from the DC area you know what spring weather can be like in the MidAtlantic. Could be cold, could be warm. We have cruised out of Baltimore in April and the seas were not rough but you never know what the seas are going to be like on any given day. As far as the Bahamas in April I would think the same thing goes. We have been to the Bahamas in May and the water was cool. Just depends on how warm the spring is.

I'm considering the Pride in mid-April and was wondering the same thing. The itinerary goes to Bermuda for 3 days and I'm just not sure it's going to be warm enough for beaches, etc. But, it'd save me a ton of aggravation to cruise out of Baltimore instead of Florida. Oh, decisions, decisions.

We went in March from Baltimore it was cool the first night from then on it was OK. We had 1 day of rough water around freeport. You can't ever predict mother nature no use trying. No matter when or where you cruise to. We liked it. Going again in Sept.
