Rare pierces Posted December 19, 2013 Author #2401 Share Posted December 19, 2013 I don't think that will fit into my card reader  I haven't see a 35mm film can in quite a while. ;) December 2000 for me... Long story. Dave
zackiedawg Posted December 19, 2013 #2402 Share Posted December 19, 2013 My last film shoot was 2006. It was memorable because it was a model's portfolio and location shoot...at the time digital still wasn't quite up to spec for the job. I still have some rolls around the house - some developed negatives and some unused rolls in the freezer.
Rare pierces Posted December 19, 2013 Author #2403 Share Posted December 19, 2013 Remember when we had to carry cameras and bags of lenses back before we could just record and download from our Zeiss ocular implants? Krazy Kruizers Posted December 19, 2013 #2404 Share Posted December 19, 2013 DH had to carry all my camera equipment. And he even started with one of those huge RCI video cam weighing around 10 pounds. He carried both for years.

marysb Posted December 23, 2013 #2416 Share Posted December 23, 2013 We are the lucky ones - we only lost power for a couple of hours. The ice is beautiful, but trees and limbs have been falling on power wires. There are many homes that will not have power until after Christmas. The ice is beautiful, but trees and limbs have been falling on power wires. There are many homes that will not have power until after Christmas. It is beautiful, but it is also dangerous. Keep an eye out for downed power lines and anything they come in contact with. They can be killers. Merry Christmas Everyone!
marysb Posted December 24, 2013 #2418 Share Posted December 24, 2013 Yes, very dangerous. We're having a few days of very cold weather, so the ice will remain as is. Trees are still falling. Let's hope for no big winds.

Thankfully the ice storm missed us. It went north of us.
Rare pierces Posted December 24, 2013 Author #2421 Share Posted December 24, 2013 Playing with Photoshop today. Larry Glad you mentioned photoshop...I thought it was the eggnog for a moment! Nicely done Larry! Here' a GIF from out visit to Disneyland's holiday edition of World of Color. The shots were hand-held and a 4-bit GIF doesn't do the colors justice, but it came out better than I expected. Merry Christmas to all! KandCsailing Posted December 25, 2013 #2424 Share Posted December 25, 2013 Glittery trees and the ice build up on my poor Japanese Maple Tree. This is day 5 with the weight of all the ice and no melting yet. The coming spring is going to be very busy cleaning up broken trees for some. Multi-Cruiser Posted December 26, 2013 #2425 Share Posted December 26, 2013 Lovely! On my phone it only looked like a tree photo, so much better on the laptop. It just looked like a standard photo on my iPhone…until I tapped the picture, then the lights started flashing. So cool!
