MDR and Evening Kids' Activities

If your children go to the Kids' Clubs after dinner in the MDR, do you take them back to the cabin for them to change clothes first? Or do you just send them in their slacks/dresses? TIA.

Either/or....depends if you want them to re-wear those "dinner" clothes, or not! Many will change into shorts, again.

Usually no, especially if I have to leave my dinner to escort DD up to the kids club, whicn is usually at the opposite end of the ship to the dining room anyway... The only time I do it is on formal nights, and then not always. I think it depends on how old and active your kids are... If there are playframes in the kids club then dresses can get in the way. It all depends on the child, the activities and the location of cabin to dining room and kids club!

We all go back to the cabin and change after dinner. Sometimes the kids do messy activities in the evenings that you might not want to get their clothes in (my nephew had face painting one night, thankfully, not dressed in his dinner clothes).

No she will usually wear whatever she wore to dinner. I have a very girly girl who loves dresses and hates shorts so it would be a fight to get her to change. I may think differently once my son is old enough though. He is rough and would probably have holes in his nice clothes. So I guess depending on your child, you make the call.
