firefly333 Posted June 27, 2010 #2 Share Posted June 27, 2010 Triumph and Destiny dont have Sur Mer or a pay dinner restaurant. Splendor has a few extra bells and whistles like the upgraded spa. ... over and above the few pax differences.
Rare Tapi Posted June 27, 2010 #3 Share Posted June 27, 2010 Looks like the Conquest, Destiny, Triumph and the Splendor are very similar. What makes them different? All these classes are more similar than not. Destiny was the first ship to surpass 100,000 tons Triumph class is a tweaked version of the Destiny. Some cabins were relocated and an additional deck of cabins was added. Conquest class is a tweaked version of the Triumph. Ship was lengthened a bit, and conference space, reservations only restaurant, & some extra cabins and bars were added. Splendor is a tweaked version of the Conquest. Spa area was upgraded, and pool deck was redesigned. Once again, all of them are more similar than different.

The Splendor was actually not build for Carnival. It was for Costa (sister company)and then Carnival took it over.
Rare Tapi Posted June 27, 2010 #5 Share Posted June 27, 2010 The Splendor was actually not build for Carnival. It was for Costa (sister company)and then Carnival took it over. The Splendor is still a derivative of Carnival's Conquest Class. Costa Serena, Costa Pacifica, and Costa Concordia (which would've been considered sister ships to the Carnival Splendor) are "upgraded" versions of the Costa Magica which is in essence a Conquest Class ship.
