Harrison's Cave in Barbados is booked! :(

We wanted to go on that excursion, but it is no longer available... do you know if any independant tours do it?? Thanks!

There are plenty of tour operators standing outside the ship in Barbados.

We picked one and Harrison's Cave was one of the stops on the tour. I don't remember the price of the tour per person, since it was 2 years ago, but I do remember it was much less expensive than the ship's price and we were back to the ship in plenty of time. It lasted about the same amount of time that the ship's tour was for. It was great and would do it again! Hope this helps.

You probably will still be able to book this excursion when you board you ship. RCCL does not sell all spaces for their excursions online, as some people still do not have internet access. They do reserve about half for people to book directly on the ship either at the excursions desk or through the interactive TV. Our excursion "sold out" online too, but we had no problem booking it once we boarded. Enjoy your cruise!

We found a taxi driver after we docked and had a tour of the island with a stop at Harrison's cave. We just told him the places we wanted to see ( I read a lot before we left) and he just coordinated the drive. It was a great day. It was a couple of years ago, so I don't remember any of the prices. But generally speaking, anything that is offered on a ship's excursion, you can usually find cheaper on shore.

In January, we went on a shore excursion with Glory Tours that I booked online. I highly recommend the "Best of Barbados" which includes the tour of Harrisons Cave.
