Hotel booked...Hyatt Regency

Just got this hotel through a "bid on hotel" website for $70 ($87.15 w/ tax). Anyone have any info on this hotel? Walking distance to Bayside Market Pl. for instance? Cost of taxi from Miami Airport to hotel, and hotel to port of Miami?

Beautiful hotel, we stayed there last August. The convention center is attached to it and the free people mover train stops right there. Hop on it and it'll take you to a block or so walk to Bayside. Great pool, and stunning city views. Taxi to the port should be less than ten bucks.

Walking to Bayside, no problem during daylight. i'd use a cab for nighttime walks tho.

 

Cab to hotel around $25 from MIA. To port $12 or so.

I just stayed there in April. It was $24 to the hotel from Miami airport and $10 from hotel to the ship(plus tip).

We took a cab to Bayside as I cannot walk very far and had dinner there at Hard Rock cafe. Also there is a CVS drugstore a short walk from the hotel. The next morning we had breakfast at the hotel.....$18 for the buffet.
