Atlantis on Own with 7 Ships in Port

We want to visit Atlantis on our own just by taking a taxi. With 7 ships in port, will it be difficult to get taxis? I just don't want to get stuck there.

Taxi's are plentiful.. both coming and going. About $4/5 pp.

As a visitor, you are allowed in the Casino, Marina Village and The Tower Lobbies. .. All other areas are off limits to those who are not guests or have day passes. Security is posted at all exits and throughout the grounds to check passes.

How much is it to do everything at Atlatis?

Depends on the cruise line... but on your own? Look at Atlantis Site.. 110 pp for Aquaventure and ONLY if they sale day passes... I believe Suba Girl said July and Aug are prime time and they don't normally sale day passes... only for hotel guest and if you book through cruise line. (Like we did for next week)

July is hard to get day passes.. August shouldn't be too bad unless there is an event. If there are 7 ships in port, and you really "have to" go to Atlantis, I'd book with the cruiseships.

How bout just a beach day pass? Will they sell these even when the waterpark passes aren't available? My in-laws don't want to do the waterpark, but want to do the beach and aquarium, and it's $110 on the ship vs $65 at Atlantis (I realize the ship includes lunch and transportation, but they would rather do those things with us and pay separately)

I'm pretty sure that ALL day passes, included beach passes are restricted during this time (July) due to capacity and events.

There are other beaches available.. including one that is just next door to Atlantis (Cabbage Beach is free and you can rent a chair for $10).

If you really want to do Atlantis, I'd advise getting it thru the ship.
