Enough time to clear customs?

Our flight has been changed out of Anchorage to Vancouver. We now only have a little over 2 1/4 hours to get through customs and make our connecting flight east (9:30 p.m. in the same terminal).

We are flying out on a Thursday, Sept. 2nd. The connecting flight is on another airline and we used airmiles for it. Has anyone had any experience with a similar time frame at Vancouver Intl?

I appreciate any advice.

As long as your flight is on time then you should have plenty of time to make your connection. I realize that Sept 2nd is the Thursday before Labour Day but that shouldn't impact the lines at Canadian customs.

Are you using two DIFFERENT tickets?? Or are they code shared. IF these are separate, then you are going to have to add time to claim your bag, go through security, get in line at the new airline, recheck your bag, go through security.

IF you can get them ticketed to your destination, you should make it.
