chachi Posted July 15, 2010 #1 Share Posted July 15, 2010 Are there any islands that Victory visits that will have a different time than ship time? All of my previous cruises changed time with the time zones. I heard that Victory doesn't. I want to make sure to make it back on time. DaDivaMom Posted July 15, 2010 #2 Share Posted July 15, 2010 You are on EST the whole trip.
welldone60 Posted July 15, 2010 #3 Share Posted July 15, 2010 It is one hour ahead of eastern standard time the whole trip. San Juan and the rest of the islands do not do daylight savings.
chachi Posted July 15, 2010 Author #4 Share Posted July 15, 2010 So the ship will stay on Eastern time though? So when the ship arrives at 8:00 am, it is really 9:00 at the ports? Thanks, I wish they would just change with the ports.
CRUZFINDER Posted July 15, 2010 #5 Share Posted July 15, 2010 Please remember that ship time is the local time at Victory's home port. In this case San Juan, PR. Since all islands on this itinerary are in the same time zone as Puerto Rico, ship time and local time will always be the same. Just remember to make sure you have the right time set in San Juan! Thanks, I wish they would just change with the ports. All the ports including San Juan are on the same time zone (one hour ahead of eastern standard time). So your arrival and departure are the same on the ship as at the ports.
