I am particularly interested in the mid-ship cabins. Is there a view obstruction from lifeboats on deck 5? How about being near the elevators? Do they obstruct view? Am I sorry if switched? Oh, dearie me!

We have stayed in SS6116 and SS6123 and both were fine - they are more aft than midship, but no obstructions from the lifeboats. You can't look down directly to the sea (so that could be an obstruction), but nothing blocking straight out views.

 

My partner is height sensitive, so this has always worked good for us.

Thanks. We changd from an ceanview on Deck 2 to a veranda on deck 6 and then saw the eck plans with the boats on deck 5. Just a bit concerned. I guess we won't be hanging over the rail to look down ;).

When are you going on the Summit? My daughter and I are going in April 2011. Is this your first cruise after the Mercury? I hope you and Ed are doing OK.

We are in one of the suites (6140) on the Penthouse deck and are wonderfing if there is any noticeable noise from the restaurant on the deck below or any blocked view from the balcony?
