UpstateCruizer Posted July 19, 2010 #80 Share Posted July 19, 2010 I even have a t-shirt that says that! My dh LIKES to buy me margaritas :D Found some sugar free mix at walmart with only 10 calories....it's passable after you get used to it. Nothing as good as the real thing though. "master of mixes" brand I think. I've been looking all over locally for sugar free mixers with no luck. I recently went to this website to check out some of the mixers there http://www.bajabob.com/home.html Someone on these boards once recommended them. Has anyone else here tried them? sharecruises Posted July 19, 2010 #81 Share Posted July 19, 2010 I don't like the "Funship Special" fruit punch drink when I board I usually order a Miami Vice...Carnival makes them so beautifully this last time I ordered a Mango Swirl....Mango Daquari and Pina Colado..sweet but yummy the chocolate/bailey's type foo foo drink is also very good
pcrum Posted July 19, 2010 #82 Share Posted July 19, 2010 DH likes Long Island Iced Teas. I like appletinis, cosmos, and mai tais. The flavored martinis area really good also. The Triumph had a tiramisu martini that was to die for!!:)

Jules7226 Posted July 27, 2010 #84 Share Posted July 27, 2010 All of these drinks sound so good. I'm making a list so that I can try them all on my cruise next week. :D I love the Funship Special! But I am very excited to try the BBC and also Lemoncello shots. Can't wait!!
mali06 Posted July 27, 2010 #85 Share Posted July 27, 2010 Fell in love with the Miami Vice years ago on the Sensation. The funny thing is that no one in Wisconsin knew how to make it for years. Now I can go several places and they don't look at me funny anymore. Also love a shot of Bailees in my free Cappuccino (sp?) after dinner.
SMSACE6 Posted July 27, 2010 #86 Share Posted July 27, 2010 I like the funship special! I have to have one ( or two ) on the day of embarkation. But my favorite drink will always be a good old gin and tonic! And Carnival mixes them exactly the way I like them, not weak, but not too strong!:)
MIZZ_K Posted July 27, 2010 #87 Share Posted July 27, 2010 I have yet to have a Miami Vice and I think this upcoming cruise I am going to have to try one. I am not a fan of their "Fun Ship Special." Not a heavy drinker at all, just curious besides pina coladas and strawberry margaritas that I usually get, what else is out there. TIA I love Miami Vice and also Mudslides. pkrchkr Posted July 27, 2010 #88 Share Posted July 27, 2010 What all is in Kiss on the Lips? It sounds interesting! The Dirty Banana drink sounds really yummy, too! My favorite drink is a Chocolate Martini or a frozen Mud Slide. I tend to lean toward the drinks that use Baileys, Godiva Chocolate Liqueur and Kahlua...but, I also love a frozen Blue Hawaiian, Strawberry Daquirie's and Pina Colada's. Yumm I second the chocolate martini.. and add a sloe comfortable screw in the corner or up against the wall( sloe gin, southern comfort and OJ)In the corner is a short glass, up against the wall is a taller one, a purple haze is another fav.. Rowan555 Posted July 27, 2010 #92 Share Posted July 27, 2010 You should try a Separator......Kahlua, brandy and milk......tastes like a coffee flavoured milkshake, but with a kick! My favorite bar in New Orleans sells Separators, and they are the best thing EVER! On cruises, I stick with Long Islands - much more bang for the buck, and they come with the $5 match play casino cards which dh loves.
kakarp Posted July 27, 2010 #93 Share Posted July 27, 2010 It use to be a Miami Vice But now it is the BBC. I use to call it a BB&C but was corrected by the waiter. It is a BBC Kevin
