FINTUCKYFARMS Posted July 18, 2010 #3 Share Posted July 18, 2010 I would like to leave a contact number for my daughters encase of an emerency. We will be on the Ocean Princess. There is a whole page of contact numbers in the cruise personalizer area I think it is under documents to print or something. It is about 3 pages long. Good luck! catergirl Posted July 18, 2010 #4 Share Posted July 18, 2010 do you use email? if not perhaps give it a try before you leave. you can set up a free hotmail or whatever account and contact them thru the ships internet. family like to hear from you now and then:)
littlemissmanics Posted July 18, 2010 #5 Share Posted July 18, 2010 Can anyone help? I'm a little confused with the whole IDD, country codes etc. I'm going to be on Crown Princess, and was hoping to leave a contact number in case of emergencies for my mum...but I'm utterly bewildered by which numbers I'm supposed to use. Any call would be from the UK...and I know the Crown number is 331 050 010. But what numbers do I put before that?! Thanks in advance for any one who can help unravel my brain. fredman Posted July 19, 2010 #7 Share Posted July 19, 2010 If in case of an emergency your TA has contact numbers that they can contact Princess directly. They will contact the ship for them.
Pam in CA Posted July 19, 2010 #8 Share Posted July 19, 2010 If it's a true emergency and you need to be contacted ASAP, and they are unable to call, they can send an email to shipname@princesscruises.com (for the Ocean Princess, that would be oceanprincess@princesscruises.com), put your name and cabin # in the Subject. I'd also put "EMERGENCY" in the Subject as well. This goes to the ship's communication system and will probably (no guarantees) be delivered directly to your cabin. Again, this should be used only in case of emergency, not "Hi, hope you're having fun" or instead of using the regular Internet service available on the ship. It's been several years since I've received a message this way so I don't know if it still works. (That's my caveat.)
