???walk time to Brown's Beach or Taxi

Wondering if anyone knows how long of a walk it is from the Port to Brown's Beach??? Or if it's a long walk, what about taxi fares??

Its a fair walk...maybe a mile or a bit more. Not sure what the taxi fare is though. Its not too far from the boatyard so it maybe a few bucks more than you pay to get to the boatyard(f you know the fare to the boatyard)
