Almagetty Posted February 9, 2005 #1 Share Posted February 9, 2005 Which glacier gives you better views, more wildlife and more guaranteed "calving" in Kenai fjords. We are currently debating the 6 hour tour to Holgate or the 8.5 hour tour to Ailik Glacier with a dinner stop at Fox Island. We're travelling with teens:eek: , so we're looking for the "drama" factor in order to keep them from (heaven forbid), being bored!;) As always, I very much appreciate any advice!! Budget Queen Posted February 9, 2005 #2 Share Posted February 9, 2005 Definately Ailik at this time. Way more active and "stable"- not advancing nor receeding. Plenty of harbor seals make this their home too. :)
