gazzer4 Posted July 26, 2010 #1 Share Posted July 26, 2010 Going on our 1st cruise on the Oceana in Oct :).. I know that they only provide bathrobes for the most expensive suites and as we're going cattle class. To save packing our own, how much do they charge for bathrobes? LibraLass41 Posted July 26, 2010 #2 Share Posted July 26, 2010 A lot £25 + I think If you are sailing from Southampton take your own their is no restriction on weight. If you are flying take a light-weight one. I take a silk one.
Thejuggler Posted July 26, 2010 #3 Share Posted July 26, 2010 A quiet word with a steward may see one or two appear in your cabin for you to borrow.
LibraLass41 Posted July 26, 2010 #4 Share Posted July 26, 2010 Worth a try, although don't count on it. Depends on the steward..I have read on a thread that this was not possible, I suppose if they can't do it you will have to buy one.
Merlin7 Posted July 27, 2010 #5 Share Posted July 27, 2010 A quiet word with a steward may see one or two appear in your cabin for you to borrow. The steward may well appear before then end of the cruise with new bathrobes for the cabin and suggest that the ones that you already have do not need to be left behind to be laundered for future use. ;)
daiB Posted September 25, 2010 #6 Share Posted September 25, 2010 Hi gazzer4, With regard the bathrobes, my wife has had these in the past. Just a word to your cabin steward. Even better we are arranging a get together of users of the P&O site on the first sea day. You are most welcome to come along. Details later. :):)Happy Cruising:):) Dai
cruiseanywhere2 Posted September 25, 2010 #7 Share Posted September 25, 2010 How big are the bathrobes? my husband is rather large and we have found in some hotels that they are too small.:o
LibraLass41 Posted September 25, 2010 #8 Share Posted September 25, 2010 Bathrobes are only in suites and perhaps mini suites and are a large, but thats not that big so if he is XL or XXL they probably won't fit. You cannot guarantee a robe in a inside, outside or even a balcony cabin.
cruiseluvva Posted September 25, 2010 #9 Share Posted September 25, 2010 We have found the size of the robes very much depends on the fabric. The waffle robes are on the small size, the velour are colossal.
