Weather the first of October

We will be in Nassau and Freeport the first week in October and I was wondering what the weather will be like. Will it still be warm enough to snorkle?

Was there at the end of Oct. and the weather was wonderful! In the mid-high 80"s

We are going the end of Oct and we are planning to snorkle so I hope its warm..... :D

Hot & humid - water temps in the 80's. Bahamas weather is very similiar to south Florida. Really doesn't start to "cool off" until November, but even in mid winter weather is usually very comfortable 70's-low 80's.

Average Temperatures:

 

Freeport - High 82°F, Low 72°F

Nassau - High 85°F, Low 72°F

 

Water Temps will be about 80°F or so.

 

Great month to visit if you like warm weather and warm water, but don't like too many other tourists around and don't mind a thundershower or two and some humidity.
