booking resturant before we go on oceana

Roaming Rover

You can't book online, book after lunch on embarkation day and you will get a table OK.

I've always got the evening I wanted this way in the specialist restaurants, the restaurant manager will have the dress code of the evening as well in his diary. Formals are best in the main dining room when the gala menus a a notch better than usual and everyone is dressed up, so a nice atmosphere.

What LibraLass41 is 'generally' true, but rules and such can be broken. Drop them an email. If you know anybody on the previous cruise, ask them to pop in, scribble your name and the date you want, and leave it with the manager.

:-)))

Something 'very' special? ;-) They 'bend the rules'

:D:D

Been there, done that, got the photos :D

Soooooooooooooooo excited !!!!!

Would you suggest the best place to eat first night is he main dining room or the Marco Pierre? Last year we were in the OV2 and booked the Bistro the first night and were totally spolied for the rest of the week !!!!

We have booked Freedom dining but are thinking of doing the main restaurant on the formal nights. Does that sound about right?

I always like to try out the main dining room on 1st night, but thats because we do club dining and it would be rude to miss our table companions on the 1st evening when you get to know each other, but if you are freedom dining thats not a problem as you will dine with different people, or on your own every night. I would still go to the MDR (Main dining roon) the first night anyway. There is only a small supplement for MPW on Oceana, its set around the atrium, I have some photos here, one shows what we had belly of pork with crackling straws.

3 photos of MPW here, the venue is not the same as Arcadia and Oriana Rhodes or XV11 on Azura, thats why the supplement is lower, you won't have a problem getting a table if you book from 3pm on embarkation day.

Yes agree main dining room for formalnights.
