Milaandra Posted July 29, 2010 #1 Share Posted July 29, 2010 Now that the tendering issues seem to be working out, I'm thinking of booking Bermuda next Spring on HAL instead of NCL. I have heard that some cabins had air conditioning/plumbing problems, so I'm hoping y'all can help me with cabin selection. (Good cold air conditioning is really important to us...too warm and we'll be miserable) We like inside low mid-ship, so likely Deck A M742-M792. Has anyone stayed in any of these? Heard any horror stories from anyone who did stay in one of them? Thanks!

On the HAL staterooms/Cabins Veendam Page I do have a few responses about some of the staterooms and A/C conditions, one such is M 784 Large Interior Stateroom Deck 4 A Deck sent to me from CC Member cricri7: The low points were the air conditioning in my room that was never very cold. I even had to ask for a fan the first night or I would have had to go sleep on a deck! You can see and read more here http://joanjett2000.topcities.com/HAL/Veendam/index.html Joane
mobyrichard Posted July 29, 2010 #3 Share Posted July 29, 2010 Just got off the Veendam on July 18th and we had an interior cabin on the Verandah deck and the AC in it worked great! My DH kept the room around 65 degrees so I needed a sweater!
