Ship time vs. Belize time

Belize is one time zone behind EDT & does not observe DST.

So when the EDT in the US is 8 AM, Belize would be 6 AM as previously stated.

And when the EDT switches to EST, then there is only one hour difference.

Carnival ships sailing from the east coast are always on that time zone for ships time.

Does anyone know if the NCL Spirit stays on EST (in November) or switches to local time? Thanks!

I think I've answered my own question. Because New Orleans is on central time, from Nov. to March, ship's time and Belize time appear to be the same.

I hope!

had a december cruise, on the NCL spirit...times were the same, since new orleans and belize/roatan are in the same time zone.

if the ship comes from miami, time zones will be different.

when we did alaska, on NCL, they changed to local time. watch the dailies..if the ship changes time, it will be posted there.
