balcony question

I always book on the port side and have had good luck with that

 

And we've always booked on the starboard side and had good luck with that. :D But this next time we're trying the port side just to see if we've missed anything. For the OP, it really doesn't matter as it varies from port to port and there is never a bad view.

As others have said it can vary with each sailing so it's a crap shoot. On our Eastern Caribbean cruise on Mariner we had a port side aft corner and in Puerto Rico we pulled in with the starboard side to the pier so we had a wonderful view of the water, same in St Thomas. In St Martin we backed in back to back with a Princess Ship so my view was of the ugly aft end of that ship and a small view of a crane on the shore to the right.
