Oasis of the Seas Teen Information

Recommended Posts

Does anyone have any information about the teen clubs, activities, curfew, ect. anything about the teen clubs. We are going on a cruise in about 2-3 weeks and my children (14 and 17) are very excited and would like to know more about the clubs. My kids have been all over the internet im sure that they know the ship better than i will by the end of the week they just complained about not finding anything about the teen clubs and things for the teens to do

I'm still waiting to hear also. My grandkids will both be 15 when we sail next year. I know they have a teen club and lounge and that you don't have to check them in and out. But other then a lounge for them to hang out at, I would like to know if they have any organized activities for them to participate in.

cruisedocs.com has some of the teen compases, I did see activities planned for that age group.

Also, curfew is 1am for teens under 18. My son was 16 on Freedom last year and didn't mind the curfew. I have heard Oasis is pretty strict with the curfew unless the teens are with thier parents/and or families.

we are cruising in exactly 2 weeks from today

Us too! I will have a 17-year-old daughter with me, she turns 17 next week. Hopefully our kids can find each other and say hello! :)

I've seen the teen clubs on this ship on a pre-inaugural and they are absolutely HUGE! Amazing areas with all sorts of stuff. Here are a few pictures.

They do have organized activities but it seems like the older teens (15-17) prefer to just use the clubs to hang out. The first night is a good time to go and meet the teen program counselors and to check out the activities for the week.

Hope that helps!

We sailed July 17 with my son who was turning 16 the day we returned. I did convince him to go the first night so that he would meet some people the first day. He did and he said it was "okay". He went back sporadically throughout the week--mostly for the sports-based activities. They had a dodgeball tournament one night on the basketball court, one night there was an air-hockey tournament, and one night they had "teens only flowriders". He enjoyed all of those. There are 6 ping-pong tables on the sports deck--this is a very popular spot--always kids waiting in line for the next game. If thats something your kids might like, I would recommend taking some ping pong balls with you. That was always a problem, they would end up smashed on the floor so many times there were none available. They did have organized activities but, like someone else said, I think the older kids just kind of "hung out". RC was very adamant about no one over the age limit was allowed in, they had "bouncers" at the teen area! The arcade seemed to be a popular spot, too. Late evening, there seemed to be large groups of older teens just wandering around but I never saw anyone rowdy or cause any problems. One thing to note is that this ship sails with a very diverse guest population--our head waiter said its usually about 1/2 american and 1/2 international guests. So I think maybe language barriers made it a little difficult for all of them to mingle. All in all, my son loved it, though--as we all did and have already booked again!!
