MsB1254 Posted August 10, 2010 #1 Share Posted August 10, 2010 We are going on the Equinox in January to Cartegena and wondering if anyone has used Dora or Claudia for tours recently. Would like to hear the good and the bad. Thanks for any feedback.

MsB1254 Posted August 19, 2010 Author #3 Share Posted August 19, 2010 Thanks for your response. Claudia was the tour operator that we ended up booking our tour with. I guess I'll know if we made the right decision in January.
Brand_New_Cruiser Posted August 31, 2010 #4 Share Posted August 31, 2010 We had a wonderful day with Dora earlier this year. There were five of us traveling together and decided to go with Dora after seeing some great reviews here. We weren't disappointed. Our first stop was the monastery, which the large buses can't visit due to the roadway leading up to it. From there we visited the fort, the old walled city and finished up in the shopping area. It was a very hot and humid day, and our driver was waiting for us after each stop in our air-conditioned van. Very comfortable, with room for an additional 2 or 3 passengers if our group had been larger. We also managed to avoid most of the tour buses - either staying ahead of them, or getting dropped off in different areas. Dora was a great tour guide. Very knowledgeable and her love of her country was apparent. Well worth it!!
