MTD change?

Does anyone know who to talk to once you get on the ship to see about getting off the wait list on MTD?

 

Also if you get off the waitlist can you just show up to the main seating or MTD to see if you can get a table?

You will need to see the Matri D when you board. Sometimes he's not available until right after lunch, but any crew member you see when you board should be able to give you the time/place he will be located.

 

You cannot just show up at any seating....you will either be "assigned" MTD or a specific dining time that you will need to abide by.

My Time Dining is just that - it's when you want to dine between about 6 and 9 pm and the different times on any given evening can be reserved ahead, daily or just do a walk in if you don't mind a short wait. Unfortunately you will have to clear the wait list for that option, otherwise it's Traditional Dining at either 6:30 or 8:30 pm or so in the Main Dining Room, and whatever time you chose, it will be the same time for the duration of the cruise.

 

Both options are served in the same room but MTD is in a special section of the MDR that's reserved for MTD only passengers.

 

You can always skip dinner in the MDR and enjoy more relaxed atmosphere at Windjammer or whatever other options are available on your ship and that can be at any time the buffets/cafes are open.

 

If your ship has specialty restaurants (Portofinos(Italian), Chops(Steaks) or Johnny Rockets(50s style joint with burgers/dogs/milk shakes)) then you can also chose that as an option but it costs extra.
