took these pics last year from Splendours pool deck.

Deck 10, port side, make sure you have a camera.

 

Pop over to the starboard side too to see the sun setting, but make sure you are back at the rail when you go past St Mark's Square.

This is spectacular... a wonderful experience. Choose a deck where you easily move from port to starboard to experience the sights on both sides of the ship.

As high as possible and don't be confused if you think you will get the best view on starboard side as the ship starts to leave, she backs out and turns round. Make sure you're on port side as she sails past St Mark's.

It is awesome as well to be on deck at the front of the ship for the return sail in to Venice. The city is so serene and calm in the early morning before evreybody gets up and the tourists arrive.

 

If you are lucky enough to have a balcony port side that is also a goog place to enjoy sailaway.
