We booked 17035 on September 25th and are anxious to hear any and all about the room and the suite life on board. Also I heard we may hear noise from above, any thoughts.

Never stayed in 17035 but got lots of pictures when it was finished on the transatlantic

Beautiful rooms, wrireless phone you can bring with you around the ship to keep in contact with others, I am eating a chocolate covered strawberry as I write, wonderful concierge and butler, so many amenities and quiet ( had a private party in the lounge...)...you ask, I'll answer specifics.

Which room are you in 17035? You said you had a private party in the lounge. Who sets that up? Is it just for the passengers in the suites or is it private. We are celebrating my husbands birthday and our 20th anniversary with our kids and grandchildren, When I wrote to the events planner they said all they could do was cake and decorations in your suite.

It would be great to suprise my husband with a party.

How many wireless phones do you have? Is it just for contacting your butler or can you keep in contact with your family? Does the phone work off the ship? Have you booked the spa if so any problems getting the time you want?

Enjoy the strawberries and hope to hear from you soon

We stayed in 17033. Major noise issues. I would switch to 17030 or 17033. They are much bigger and better. The balcony's are twice as big and you do not have people looking at you, or the elevator in the middle of your view. 17033/17035 were very disappointing once you see 17030/17033.

We just returned from staying in 16010. Can't comment on the noise issues on Deck 17 although there are several posts about that here and elsewhere on the CC boards. As to "suite life" I will mention:

  • We found staying on Deck 16 - the same level as the Courtyard, Epic Grill and Club restaurant, lounge and concierge had many convenience advantages. There were absolutely no noise issues and we were by one of the door entrances to the Courtyard and very close to the pool.
  • The concierge will escort you to the BMG, Ledgends and Cirque performances to assure that you get the first choice of seats in the theater. Very nice perq. They will take you down through the service elevators of the ship, not the public elevators. We had front row seats for all the performances for the 5 of us. Yes, we wore the plastic ponchos for the BMG performance because we were so close. We made our reservations for these shows when they became available on line at the NCL website. Don't assume that the concierge can get you into the shows if they are booked.
  • If you wish to go to either the Taste or Manhattan restaurants ask the concierge to call ahead and you will avoid any waiting time and may get a preferred seat. We were seated immediately while others had about a half-hour wait.
  • The concierge will print your boarding passes at the end of the cruise.
  • Don't miss the shrimps in the Epic Grill at lunch time. All the lunch items were good as among the 5 of us I think we tried most all of them.
  • Some of our best dinners were in the Epic Club restaurant. The rack of lamb and the braised short ribs come to mind as I type. Others had different menu items that were very good.

Would love to look at these pictures but for some reason this link does not work! Any way you think you could put some of them in here so I could take a look? Thanks. Looking at booking this room for upcoming cruise on the epic.
