Has anybody taken the bus from the airport?

I mean the regular bus to Old San Juan? Is luggage allowed on the bus and where does it drop off in Old San Juan? Thank you.

only small suitcase or bagpack allowed inside bus. you take that bus #40 at the airport and will take you almost in front of the Ritz (do not miss this one!), take that stop near the Ritz and then take bus #5 which takes you directly to the main terminal at the historic district.
