Princess- Florence, and Uffizi tour-long lines?

Has anyone done this tour? It is called the Florence, Statue of David and Uffizi tour.

Princess says they allow two hours at the Uffizi, but if the lines are long to get in the tour may not go in?

Has anyone been to the Uffizi recently? Are the lines long?

Thanks! :o

There are different entrances:

for walk-in-guests without pre-bookings

for guests with pre-booking

for groups

So do not worry: it's really well organised.

We were there two weeks ago and the lines were semi-long if you had a reservation but very long if you did not. The lines are a bit confusing as there were three lines:

One if you had a reservation - you got in this line to get you ticket and then went and got in a second line once you had your ticket. We had 12:15 reservations and got in line at 12:00. We cleared both lines and were inside by 12:20, the lines moved pretty fast.

The third line is for the poor souls with no reservations, it was very long and did not seem to move much. No way would I go to Uffizi with out a reservation. The museum is very large, we really enjoyed it.

We also went to Academia and saw David, once again we had a reservation and only waited about 15 minutes. Again those without reservations waited longer but probably not as long as at the Uffizi.

Florence is very easy to do on your own. You could probably take three people on a DIY tour for the cost of one on the Princess tour.
