Don, Oslo has a famout museum about the 5 year resistance network during WWII Check out http://www.mil.no/felles/nhm/start/eng/ I visited 2 year ago. It is a favorite subject of study for me. celem Posted February 13, 2005 #5 Share Posted February 13, 2005 If your cruise also goes to Latvia, their Resistance Museum is very interesting. It is partly about **** oppression and partly about Soviet oppression. They even have a recreated gulog inside. From my journal: ------------------- ...After lunch we went to the only museum that was open, the Occupation Museum. It was interesting - the Latvians have suffered much. I don't know who was worse, the Soviets of the ****s - I think the ****s as the Latvians considered them liberators when they chased the Soviets out...
