Grappa

I am not an expert on Grappa (or jet fuel which tastes just like it <grin>) but all the distillers I know are far north of Rome. I was dragged kicking and screaming for mercy on several such tours. Which leads me to this advice:

never tour Northern Italy with a serial killer or a grappa lover. I would

think a grappa loving serial killer would be even worse.

Thank you for the advice looks as though we will give such a tour a miss this time!

Besides having a great distillery where you can taste, we found a lovely cafe where you got to taste grappa free if you bought ciccetti , (like a small tapas sandwich).

I learned that I really liked the aged smoother pale brown type but was silly and didn't buy any. I found that here in the USA it is SUPER expensive!
