Freedom chefs table

I will soon be on my long awaited Freedom cruise. Thanks to the help of John Heald's blog I have been confirmed for the Chef's table experience. I was wondering if anyone has done this since it rolled out on this ship.I have read previous threads and see that the venue where the table is set changes according to ship layout. Can anone tell me where the actual table will be?

My wife, son, and I did the Chef's Table on the MS Carnival Freedom (July 17-25, 2010). We believe that it was the first Chef's Table for the Freedom.

 

Although it is a bit pricey, it was well worth the experience. We had a escorted tour of the kitchen during dinner hours and were able to see the food being prepared in real time. We were given appetizers and champagne in the kitchen.

 

We were then escorted by the Master Chef to a private dinning room where we had a gourmet dinner, it was one of the most memorable dining experiences we ever had. We were able to ask the chef's questions in regards to food preparation. We had a group photograph taken and were given a personalized Carnival cookbook.

 

We are Platinum Cruisers and have sailed on many different cruise lines. We do feel that the Chef's Tablet was the highlight of this cruise. If one is interested in seeing how a cruise ship functions, in addition to being served gourmet food we would highly recommend this experience.

Im very glad the experience worth the price,however I am still uncertain as to where the dinner took place. I have read on some ships it is the library,others the disco. Could you clarify this for me?
