Tropical storm Danielle

I wouldn't worry about any "what if's." It's too early to tell the track this storm will take. If it affects the itinerary of your cruise your ship will visit some unexpected ports or you'll have some unexpected sea days. No need to worry right now.

When we were on a cruise threatened by a storm a few years ago, the Captain said the worst that will happen is you will have a free extra day of cruising. We weren't that lucky, the storm went out to sea.

Ships stay far away from hurricanes. They change itinerary if necessary. There were times when a hurricane hit South Florida that the ships became floating hotels, because people could not get out; the airports were closed.

Don't worry; you'll be fine.

Thanks for replying,we have to fly from the UK and the weather in Miami is thunder storms all week

If you can have your camera handy inside the plane you can take some pix of some pretty spectacular thunderheads as you're approaching Miami. Assuming, of course, that you have a window seat!
